Valentin Deac
HERE Germany
Valentin Deac comes with 20 years of experience in the IT&C industry, occupying in the last 15 years various manager or director positions in multinational companies. His last position in Romania was that of R&D Site Manager and Executive Director of Nokia Romania until the end of 2010. Valentin moved to Germany in January 2011 where he held in time for Nokia the positions of Service Level Director, Head of Operations Program Management Office and Director of Delivery at the Berlin site. His current position is Technical Services Director at HERE in Germany where he is in charge with the operations, hosting and support of the majority of the HERE services (HERE was the maps and navigation division of Nokia that became independent in 2015 after being acquired by a consortium of the 3 major German car manufacturers: BMW, Audi and Daimler). Valentin is a passionate public speaker and has been invited in the last 10 years as key presenter to several conferences and events in Romania and abroad.
